Whale SpottingHoliday Exhibition and Store
The Holiday store is the Gallery tuned into a small boutique. Members offer jewelry, ceramics, bags, scarves, and of course ceramics, prints , cards and paintings.
The Holiday store officially opens on November 8th and extends through the month of December .

The Kaji Aso Studio will again be a featured exhibition at the Prudential Center Huntington Arcade Winter Garden. The dates set for the exhibition are in November . In addition to a multi-media exhibition the will be a number of performances and free events offered to the passing public.

This is the 16th annual haiku Contest sponsored by Kaji Aso Studio. "Every year more and more people submit haiku and the quality is getting better too" says Kaji Aso. Japanese Calligraphy and Sumi painting by Kaji Aso and students of Mr. Aso's classes are being presented at the Gallery Nature & Temptation.In conjunction with this exhibition the Studio will host it's annual Japan Festival during which you may view demonstrations in Japanese calligraphy by Mr. Aso and many other Japanese art forms. Gary Tucker sketches the ParthenonSummer school in Greece - Summer 2007
This is the fourth year that the Kaji Aso Studio takes a limited number of artists, and travelers to the beautiful islands of Greece. As in past tours, we will include visits to prominent museums and archeological sites, important ruins, and other places of cultural interest. Daily activities include time for painting and sketching, and review, shopping, and dinning at many excellent restaurants or tavernas, and of course plenty of beach time. Travel dates are from June 10th-June20th and we will visit Athens, and Chania and Heraklion on Crete.

"Starry night" watercolor by Katie SlossStar Festival Exhibition and Performances
An event featuring and evening of new music, poetry, and artwork inspired by the theme of "Tanabata". This ancient Japanese legend is the story of 2 stars which are personified by a weaver princess and a shepard. Their love is so consuming that they forget their responsibilities and the king of heaven must force them apart. The king grants them one evening a year when they may meet and be together. The evening is an evening of celebration and passion, but when morning comes the two stars begin their journey apart.

Nara pagodaSummer School in Japan - 2007
Two weeks in Japan beginning the of July returning the of August. Our tour begins in Tokyo and we will spend several days in Izu at Gandenji where we practice ceramics and painting in the morning and then enjoy swimming in the ocean. Hot spring bath after dinner. We then travel to Nara, and Kyoto where we can see the most important artworks and sculptures and gardens of Japan.
