September

Japan FestivalBloomsday Performance

Saturday, September 20 - 8 pm
The performance will feature a story from " Dubliners", a dramatized
interpretation of Father Arnall's sermon about Hell in " A Portrait of the
Artist as a Young Man" and a reenactment of the encounter between Leopold Bloom
and Stephen Daedalus as described in the "Ithaca" chapter of Ulysses.

These dramatic selections will be interspersed with music and singing.
Joyce was an accomplished singer and lover of music and included several references to various forms of music
throughout his works and it is from this vast selection that the singers from the Kaji Aso Studio will chose their repertoire.
