An event featuring an evening of new music, poetry and artwork inspired by the theme of “Tanabata”. This ancient Japanese legend is the story of two stars which are personified by a weaver princess and a shepherd. Their love is so consuming that they forget their responsibilities and the king of heaven must force them apart. The kind grants them one evening a year when they may meet and be together. The evening is a night of celebration and passion, but when morning comes, the two begin their journey apart.
