Katharine Finnegan, Executive Director of Kaji Aso Studio, received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays conferred by the Emperor of Japan at a ceremony on December 2, 2023 held at the Consul General's residence witnessed by Kaji Aso Studio's Trustees, Board of Advisors, and Faculty. She is deeply honored by this award for her "contributions to introducing Japanese culture in the United States and promoting friendly relations between Japan and the United States". With a deep bow she says thank you very much どうも ありがとう ございます to Founder Kaji Aso, the Cabinet Office in Japan, and the Consulate General of Japan in Boston.
