First Prize: $300* 

*and a complimentary Certificate of Commendation for first prize from

the Consulate General of Japan in Boston.

Second Prize: $150

Third Prize: $75

Senryu Prize: $75

NOTE: Monetary prizes are or through PayPal or in the form of checks presented from Kaji Aso Studio.

SUBMISSION DETAILS 

Deadline- April 6th

Two steps to submit:  

Submissions are not complete until both steps are done.

 

Step 1) Pay the entry fee of $3.00 per haiku or per senryu

with the PayPal button above.

You may send multiple haiku or senryu. 

Your entries should be unpublished and not currently submitted to another contest or journal. 

Step 2)  email your English language submissions to:  Admin2@kajiasostudio.com

Subject Line:  Kaji Aso Studio International Haiku Contest 2026 Submission

Include your name, address, phone number and email.

 

Be sure to mark each submission as either haiku or senryu.

If a submission is not marked it will automatically go into the haiku category.

 

NOTE: All entries are randomized and judged anonymously.

All rights will revert back to the authors after May 15, 2026, after winners have been announced.

Please type or neatly print your submissions and be sure to include your name, address, phone number, and email. Be sure to mark each submission as either haiku or senryu. If a submission is not marked it will automatically go into the haiku category.

Make out a check for the full amount ($ 3.00 times number of haiku/senryu entries) payable to Kaji Aso Studio.
